    Description

    Rare set of 11 gold wash 950 Minerva "1" silver standard French citrus grapefruit spoons tentatively attributed by hallmark analysis to Laurent Labbe Paris France early second quarter of the 19th century.There is another hallmark on the front handle of a beetle weevil insect purportedly used to mark export wares....or so I have read. Extremely elegant and beautiful monogram on back handle tip. Expert opinion as to exact maker and age always welcome.
    Each measures approximately 5 3/4 inches and have a total combined weight of 304 grams.
    These are very handsome elegant well made finely detailed spoons that are a pleasure to hold. The gold wash is in very good condition. I like and think you will too.
    Overall good condition as described and photographed above with minor wear and surface imperfections from age and normal use.....otherwise ready for use or to give as gift.
