Presented is a fabulous set of 6 French first standard silver knives. It's worth noting that French first standard silver has a purity of 950, which is higher than sterling 925. These knives were made by Henry Freres et Fils of Boin-Taburet. The handles of the knives are done in a pattern pretty much identical to James Robinson's Cannon knives. The knives have sterling silver blades, in the New French form.
This set is in great condition. There are no splits, no dents, no separations, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Each knife is hallmarked on the blade with the French first standard mark of Mercury's head guaranteeing 950 silver purity, as well as the maker's mark for Henry Freres et Fils and a retail mark for Boin-Taburet. The collars of the handles are also hallmarked with the French first standard mark of Mercury's head guaranteeing 950 silver purity, as well as the maker's mark for Henry Freres et Fils.
