Description
Each one of these Gotek drives have been modified for use, and tested on Amiga Computers (they likely will work for other retro-computers as well).Using ADF files from places like TOSEC (archive -dot-org) or Aminet (dot-net), these USB based floppy drive emulators
allow loading a USB memory device with “disk Images” in the

isk

ormat (ADF); then, using the rotary knob, you can select which “disk” you wish your Amiga to automatically load
within 2 - 3 seconds. Pressing the knob brings up a secondary menu for manipulating the image.
These drives have been modified: to have an OLED that shows the Disk Name, they have been flashed with new firmware (FlashFloppy v3.27), and have a rotary dial device added for ease of use. Their cases

These have been tested on several Amigas with the final test on an Amiga 4000T with a Cyberstorm PPC. The firmware is said to work on any device listed on the FlashFloppy Wiki (see below).
