Description
For those who are not very familiar with the Gravis Ultrasound it was one of the early sound cards for the PC released in 1992. It had the quite nice feature of storing and playing back digitized sound samples from (1MB) onboard memory (called patches, sound banks or sound font) which provided much better audio quality for games and applications than the conventional FM synthesis of Sound Blaster or compatible cards. This later model GUS PnP (produced in 1995) has advanced hardware and more memory provided by the installed 2 x 4MB SIMM modules. It is backward compatible with the GUS Classic while being less noisy and having better general sound quality. Please check out these MIDI samples recorded from this exact card using the standard 4MB soundfont!

My policy:
I have been collecting vintage PCs, parts and accessories as a hobby for a decade now.
The hardware I’m selling were all tested mostly on the day of the listing or not too much earlier. I take responsibility of their functionality for a reasonable testing period (one week following delivery). If there would be a problem I would either return the money or send a replacement part.
In most cases I have software and electronic documentation for the listed items which I would gladly share.
I provide combined shipping for auctions ending in a few days interval.
The items are safely packaged in antistatic bag, bubble wrap and cardboard boxes taking into account the size and weight of the hardware and the destination country.
I also accept offers. If you think I overpriced something or just want to pay a bit less contact me!
I would gladly answer any questions regarding my listed hardware.
