14kt yellow easy melt point 1305*F - Flow point 1415*F - used for sizing and chain repair  - not cadmium-free
All Purpose Yellow 5kt melt point 1110*F - Flow point 1290*F - used for general repair / fine chain - not cadmium free
The all purpose yellow repair solder is a lower karat and is also easy flowing. Because this solder is lower karat, they may not color match our plumb gold solders. Approximate size is 1 5/8 x 1/2 x .010 inch (30 ga).
