Antique Baccarat and .950 Silver Vermeil Perfume Vanity Bottle w Case. Condition is very good.
French (Minerve 1eme) 950/1000 silver mounted Baccarat perfume bottle made around 1894-5 by silversmith/goldsmith Léon Champenois whose workshop was in the rue du Temple. The crystal is in the bambou tors style, produced widely by Baccarat at the time. It has its original silk satin lined presentation box and bears a monogram. The workmanship is very beautiful and the condition very good with just a couple of flea bites to the stopper inside and two barely noticeable flea bites at the junction of the crystal and silver fittings.
