Superb Vintage CARTIER FRANCE 950 Silver SERVING PLATTER-Hand Chased-13 7/8 Inch

Up for bid is a superb quality CARTIER France 950 silver round serving platter. The platter is 13 7/8 inches in diameter and weighs 1242 grams.  It has a molded edge, and the rim is finely decorated with hand chased floral designs.  It has a beautiful hand engraved “CB” or “BC” entwined monogram in the center.  It is marked [RL / 950M] under a crown in a pentagon, “CARTIER” and “MADE IN FRANCE” and a scratched “47-2083”.  This appears to be an official Cartier order code, rather than a security mark.
Condition on the tray is fairly good.  There are three or four shallow crease dents in the bottom, a few tiny black spots, and a smoothed-over cut mark on the back near the edge.  Still a fantastic piece of high-quality silver!
