Vintage ARI German Vinyl Clown Doll Painted Face Very Cute

ARI
Circus Clown Doll
This is a very cute and not-creepy clown doll dressed in a red felt jacket with silver snaps and a green bow tie, red and white heart-printed pants with matching hat and white shoes.  The face is painted with traditional white clown eyes and mouth and it has a red clown nose.  The hair is yellow, synthetic and the doll is bald on top.
I can only guess at the age because I was unable to find another doll just like this one.  It looks like a souvenir circus doll, perhaps?
There is a tag around the doll that says "ARI" and a marking on the doll's back that looks like "B278."
The doll is in excellent condition with just some light discoloration on the shoes and the white shirt under the jacket.  There is also some rough spots on one of the hands and a brown spot on the other hand.
