Rajasthan man arrested for posing as RSS member, forging Sangh’s documents

A man posing as a senior leader and thinker of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was arrested in Jaipur after he sent a forged letter to Rajasthan’s Chief Minister, Bhajanlal Sharma, requesting to be appointed as the Chairman of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC).
The accused, identified as Kushal Chaudhary, claimed to be a national promoter and an ideologue of Hindu outside, and allegedly used a fake RSS letterhead to create a false impression of his influence.
Chaudhary was arrested as the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) filed a formal complaint with the local police after receiving the request from him. He has been charged with forgery and deception.
Chaudhary even sent a copy of the same request to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
After his arrest, the police also recovered a stash of fake and forged documents related to the RSS from his possession.
“Kushal Chaudhary used to call himself an RSS ideologue on social media. Objecting to the same, a man named Vijay Singh lodged a complaint with the police, who then arrested the accused and interrogated him. He had forged various types of documents related to the RSS and had also prepared a fake letter that he sent to the CMO, and even a copy to the PMO,” Jaipur West DCP Amit Kumar said.
Apart from forwarding a letter to the Rajasthan CMO, Kushal Chaudhary also sent a similar request to the Assam Chief Minister’s Office, requesting them to nominate him as the Commissioner of the Assam Disabled Commission, DCP Kumar added.
The police confirmed that the accused is not associated with the Sangh in any way, neither does he hold any position in the RSS whatsoever.
However, he posed as an RSS cadre, thinking of it as an opportunity to achieve his goal since both Rajasthan and Assam are ruled by a BJP-led government.
Police said that further investigation into the matter is underway.
